Our games localisation team is the largest and the most experienced division at Roboto. We have been localising games since 2002 and managed to gain recognition as one of the most universal and reliable localisation agencies in this part of the world. We employ top specialists in the field, while dedicated project managers expertly assign resources at every stage of the project, which guarantees success whatever the challenge.

Games translations

We translate, edit and proofread all type of gaming material, provide cultural adaptation services, and fully localise dialogues. Teams of experienced experts in given fields are carefully selected to work on specific game genres. Whatever the challenge, be it a game for kids, an FPS, an MMO, or an adventure game, we always pick the right translators who ensure their project is pulled off successfully. We are dedicated to providing creative, natural texts so that the plot of the game can be equally engrossing for Polish, French as well as Japanese gamers.

QA & LQA

Our Testing Lab provides top-notch quality assurance services (QA) and linguistic quality assurance services (LQA) of games. The team of testers is located and managed from our Warsaw office, which ensures that confidential game code is safe, especially if the title is still in development.

Why ROBOTO?

  • We utilise many bug-tracking systems (Mantis, JIRA, DevSuit, TestFlight) to meet the Client’s needs and requirements. Linguistic tests run from beta to master versions on the following platforms: PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS Vita and mobile devices with iOS & Android. Next generation consoles from Microsoft and Sony will soon be added to the list.
  • Data security – we have locate our Test Lab in an isolated area of the office. Access to Roboto’s premises is controlled by a special proximity card system, and only authorized personnel can enter the Lab. Two independent CCTV camera systems are installed both in the office and by the entrances to the building. Also, two broadband services from two independent providers are available in our office.
  • Streamlined communication between teams of translators and testers working on the same project.
  • Teams of translators have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with games before they start their localisation process, additionally they can provide useful feedback to the LQA teams during tests.
