Founding Roboto back in 2002 was a natural consequence of childhood dreams and choices made later, in adult life, such as English Philology studies at the University of Nicolas Copernicus in Toruń. At the time of graduation, I was employed in one of the major computer games monthlies (“Świat Gier Komputerowych”). Having combined passion for games with the love of linguistics, I paved a way for a company that exploited huge growth potential in the fascinating niche of games localisations, movies and books translations, while at the same time not neglecting business projects. Passion, quality, punctuality, creativity, flexibility – those are the keywords that laid the foundations for our Clients’ satisfaction, and thus, for Roboto’s market success. When I was joining the crew at Roboto in 2009, my principle objective was to take a well-established organization to the next level and put it on a fast track to global expansion. The effects surpassed all expectations – after years of continuous, dynamic growth, Roboto strengthened its position as the market leader in Polish games localisations, but also became a household name for multi-language games localisation, LQA testing, and VO recordings. We now provide services for a few dozen companies in the industry, including global leaders. Each year, millions of words and thousands of audio files pass through our keyboards and microphones.
